Patrik Antonius, now a sponsored pro for Full Tilt Poker is often referred to as the pretty boy of poker. A former model and leading tennis coach, this Finland player first broke into the circuit during the 2005 WPT where he placed in various events.
That same year he finished 3rd in the Barcelona European Poker Tour which drove him right into the spotlight for his aggressive nature and the ability to dominate when playing heads up.

Although he has yet to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, Antonius has placed in various events as well as taking 2nd place in the World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classics and first in the EPT Baden Bei Wein during 2005.
His sponsorship at Full Tilt Poker didn’t happen until the summer of 2008, however since then, he has become one of the site’s more popular pros playing in the ultra high limits cash games and tournaments almost daily. He’s a regular in the “Big Game” and has taken down one of the largest post in cash game history on GSN which totaled $750,000.
During an interview, Antonius told the reporter, “I want to be remembered as one of the best cash-game players to have ever played the game” and with that reports across the major poker forums have seen him challenge many of online poker’s biggest players to matches including Doyle Brunson and Tom Durr Dwan.
