During the earlier part of his career Justin was caught multi-accounting at both Party Poker and Pokerstars. Once he hit the online scene at the age of 18 he built a bankroll of $10,000 from $200 and was an impressive multi-table player. Others nicknamed him “12 tabler” simply because he was able to crush a number of SNG at once and could usually be found playing the $200 games. The stigma of his multi-accounting will probably follow him wherever he goes. It was only by fluke that Party Poker discovered he had been playing multiple accounts when they were investigating the JJ Prodigy scandal. Once they learned the details of Justin’s accounts, the site confiscated his accounts along with the $100,000 he had.
Although one of the younger players on the scene, he has had an incredible start taking a 4th place finish in the 2005 French Open Deauville, as well as 7th in the 2006 WPT Five Diamond Classic. In 2007 Justin attended the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure where he placed 11th.
2008 was a great year for him, with a large number of tournament wins and / or final table finishes in addition to joining the ranks of David Williams, Jean-Robert Ballande, and Evelyn Ng as part of Team Bodog. He made his first appearance with Bodog at the 2008 World Series of Poker and took down 2nd place in the $5,000 Mixed Hold-em event.
Justin’s total live tournament wins exceed $1.4 million US
